NCWGA National Show at Siskiyou Golden Fair Yreka, CA
August 11 - 15, 2010
We are excited to be hosting the 2010 Natural Colored Wool Growers National Show at our local fair, the Siskiyou Golden Fair, in Yreka, CA. The Golden Fair is a traditional county fair that still represents the local ranching and farming community. It is a family friendly fair with strong participation by our 4-H and FFA students. Yreka, CA is centrally located on the west coast for NCWGA members to the north and south. The fairgrounds are directly off Interstate 5 for easy access.
The NCWGA National Show will feature an open sheep show, a junior sheep show, and a wool show. There will be four divisions: fine, medium, long, and coarse wools. The wool judging will be held on Thursday, August 12 and the open and junior sheep shows will be on Friday, August 13. We will have a dinner and members meeting on Friday evening. Entries should be submitted to the Siskiyou Golden Fair. The exhibitor handbook should be available in early May online at www.sisqfair.com.
Hope to see you there!
