January 2010 - Only Four Natural Colored Corriedale Fleeces Still Available.
We produce our fleeces for discerning handspinners. Our sheep wear coats throughout the entire year to keep their fleeces clean and reduce sun bleaching. I skirt the fleeces heavily, discarding the head, neck, leg, and belly wool. I hand pick out any remaining vegetable matter or any second cuts so you receive only the highest quality wool.
Aine: Dark gray, well-defined medium-fine crimp, very consistent, very soft, 3.75 - 4.25 inch staple, 6.3 pounds, Second Place at California National Wool Show. $107.10

If you are interested in a fleece, I would be happy to mail some sample locks to you. Send an email to burnsedel@sisqtel.net and include your mailing address. Fleeces are shipped by FedEx, unless you request another carrier. You pay only what FedEx charges, plus $2 for the shipping carton.
