Livestock Guardian Dogs

We are fortunate to have Anatolian Shepherd Dogs working as livestock guardians for our flock.  Anatolians are highly intelligent, constantly vigilant, and fiercely protective of their flock and their property.  Our two females, Shahane and Star, live with our sheep 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  They lead the sheep out to pasture in the morning, follow them as they graze regardless of the weather, chase off any intruders, and lie down to rest with them at the end of the day.
